HeriTech Media UK’s Founder and Managing Director Phil Armstrong has been appointed as the Ambassador for Tourism Places in the Surrey Branch of the Institute of Directors.

I am delighted to accept the role of Ambassador for Tourism Places at the Surrey Branch of the Institute of Directors. Having a personal as well as professional passion in history, heritage, culture, and tourism empowers me to contribute meaningfully to this role, I am eager to promote the rich tapestry of history that Surrey offers.

I am really looking forward to representing the IoD members connected to my Ambassador specialism / interest areas building up a trusted group of exemplary professionals within historical and heritage sites across Surrey and be an advocate for the IoD in my business and the historical and heritage site network.

By identifying ways to help members Connect. Develop. Engage. I’ll be supporting the IoD’s growth. I look forward to ensuring our members have access to the best advice and support available from the IoD, and that they have a voice into the policy team.

I will leverage my experience in the historical and heritage site sector to be an accessible, approachable “go-to” person in the Surrey IoD branch team of Ambassadors for any directors seeking guidance and support on tourism places issues.
