L’Oceanografic De Valencia

The L’Oceanografic oceanarium is not only the largest aquarium park in Spain, but also the largest complex of its type in Europe, spanning 110,000 square metres and is home to 45,000 animals from 500 different species.

The Challenge

The L’Oceanografic required an audioguide service that would offer information to all its visitors, especially families and children. The diverse origin of its visitors also required the availability of many languages.

An essential point in the development of the audioguide service consisted in the possibility of modifying the contents periodically, according to the movement or change of species in their facilities.

The Solution

L’Oceanografic elected to implement the EasyGuide digital solution for those visitors who wish to access the contents directly on their mobile phones, plus the intuitive Content Management Software enables the aquarium technicians to manage the content, making changes when necessary.

A handheld audioguide was also included in the project, the Guidoo Video audioguide, for visitors who prefer to use a traditional audioguide in each and every one of the Aquariums.

The Result

The contents, updated periodically, guarantee both L’Oceanografic and the visitors, that these will correspond to the species that you will discover during your walk through this vast awe-inspiring complex.

MuseumMate frequently accompany the technicians of the Aquarium so that the devices, the contents, and the Service are at the same level of quality as the first day.
