Palacio Real De La Granja De San Ildefonso
The Palacio Real de La Granja de San Ildefonso (Royal Palace of La Granja de San Ildefonso), also known as La Granja, is an early Baroque style 18th-century Palace. Beginning in 1721, King Philip V began building a new palace and gardens modelled on Versailles, built by his grandfather, Louis XIV of France.
The Challenge
In 2001 Patrimonio Nacional, the managing institution of all the Royal Palaces and sites sought to incorporate an audioguide service for the visit to the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, and the valuable heritage it houses within its walls.
The Solution
Due to the success of the Guidoo Video being used in the Royal Palace, MuseumMate were tasked with bringing the history to life, whilst highlighting the significant importance of this Palace.
Just like with the other Royal Palaces, after a process of content production that required the approval of Conservatives and National Heritage Managers.
The Result
After a resounding success of the audioguide service in the Royal Palace, the same solution was subsequently implemented into other Palaces and sites dependent on National Heritage, some of which are also included in this Customer Stories on section.
